Low iron diet for Eclectus parrots and other frugivores

The basis of any diet for birds should come from the most reliable source - Nature. Our nutritionists and veterinarians have used this inspiration to create a completely balanced diet from the ground up. It is a formula based on fresh fruit and select low iron grains from Australian farms and provides a wholesome and balanced food, specifically designed for frugivores - Paradise Pellets

"Average Daily Pellet Requirements
Average Eclectus Parrot: Approx. 450g bodyweight requires minimum 35g of Paradise Pellets per day. (Note: this figure considers you feed equal parts fruit and vegetables in addition)
Other frugivores (fruit pigeons, birds of paradise, minors etc): Approx. 8g of Paradise pellets per 100g of bodyweight, in addition to fresh fruit.
Feeding Guide (pie chart)
50% Paradise Pellets
45% Fresh fruit and vegetables
5% Selected treats (seeds and nuts)
Unlimited water
Paradise Pellets have been developed to provide complete nutritional balance for growth, breeding, brain function and optimum feather development when fed as 50% of your Frugivores total diet. The remaining 50% should consist of majority fresh fruit and vegetables (45%) and small portion of treat foods such as select nuts and seeds (5%). Vetafarm Delistix can also be added into this 5% as a healthy balanced treat and behavioural enrichment tool. Foods high in iron should be avoided when feeding Frugivores with a low iron tolerance."
